1.
I awoke this morning feeling something was not right Though your arms around me held me safely through the night Now awake it seems I've been living within a dream Certain feelings that fade away are something I must believe Now tell me What will I do when you walk from my life (I really wonder) What will I do when you walk from my life Oh the love you bring to me like the honey to the bee Is the sweetest sensation pleasure blossoms inside of me yeah Everyone needs a guiding star on their way to paradise Though elusive butterflies must spread their winds and fly What will I do when you walk from my life (I really wonder) What will I do when you walk from my life When the feeling is fading, true love is always worth saving Think twice about what you're doing A soul connection when we make love You and I just can't deny When two hearts are heaven close why must we justify What will I do when you walk from my life (I really wonder) What will I do when you walk from my life What will I do when you walk from my life (I really wonder) What will I do when you walk from my life, (Baby don't walk away) (don't walk away from me baby), (Baby don't walk away) (don't walk away from me baby), (Baby don't walk away)

about

This is a remake of a beautiful ballad originally created & performed by my father, Ellis Hall Jr.. The lyrics are poetic and contemplative regarding a lover. This remakes production is in contemporary R&B style with prominent drum sequencing and sparse yet emotive instrumentation including piano and strings.
